It's as simple as that. I love shoes. I ❤️ Shoes.
I love all types of shoes. Flats, heels, wedges, sandals, boots, ankle boots, flat boots, heeled boots, wedge boots, leather boots, suede boots, ballet flats, open toe peeps, closed toe shoes, gladiator sandals, platform heels and ohhhhh the list goes on.
At last count including joggers, flip flops and slippers I own 91 pairs of shoes.
It had gotten to the stage in my home where my shoe addiction had taken over the bedroom, well the wardrobe to be specific. The situation was dire and something had to give. An extension was required or there would be divorce. To save himself from listening to me the husband, who is quite handy with his tools set about on the planning and design of my shoe emporium.
As construction began I became quite excited and being the crazy online shopper that I am I felt the need and compulsion to have to buy more shoes, after all I couldn't have a shoe emporium with no shoes to be housed in it!
The day had come where I began to move my collection from the tiny & cramped quarters they all once shared in the shared built in wardrobe to their magnificent new home on the wall....in the shoe emporium. Pair by pair I carefully manoeuvred, placed, moved, shuffled and reshuffled my shoes until I had them exactly how they needed to be. I was overjoyed to see them all on the wall, in the emporium, on display. Over time I gave them some friends - earings, necklaces, clutch bags, evening bags even sunglasses. There they all stand today, proudly on the shoe wall in the shoe emporium!
